Less than two hours by car from Los Angeles you can find the year round playgrounds Big Bear Lake and Big Bear lodging.  Situated in the San Bernardino National Forest at approximately 7,000 feet above sea level, Big Bear provides activities for all four seasons.

My favorite things to do while in big bear are camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, hiking, parasailing, horseback riding, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, playing in the snow, shopping and just relaxing, everything I can do in Big Bear are always fun activities that keep me busy all day and I always seem  to want to stay there some more because there are so many things to do.
